Foozy Does' Fitness Journey: Cross Training
I have been working hard with my personal trainer, Amar, owner of Ascend Concierge Fitness (Follow him on Instagram @Ascend.Concierge.Fitness) he has been instrumental in my journey to a healthier life. Here is a video of one of our workouts. Amar is a trained and certified personal trainer who really knows his stuff! He has me in the best shape of my life and I am only getting better.
We have been training together for about two and a half years. He helped me out after a major surgery that involved my left hip. I had to learn to stand and walk properly all over again. I have lost 20 lbs. and have successfully kept it off, but more importantly I am in the best shape of my life and still working to get stronger and better every day. *
C R O S S T R A I N I N G
Warm up, roll out muscles
ROUND 1
* Single Arm DB swings (3 sets of 10 reps switching arms)
* Step Swing Pull (3 sets of 10 reps switching arms)
ROUND 2
* Walking Swing Pull
* Lunge Switch Press (3 sets with 15LBS, switching legs and arms, 10 each side)
ROUND 3
* Battle Ropes - 3 Sets of 10 reps
* Medicine Ball Slams - 3 Sets of 10 reps at 16LBS
* Farmer's Carry - 3 Sets of walking the length of the room/yard 35LBS each arm
